The Society of Cost Estimating and Analysis
(SCEA) is a nonprofit organization which strives to promote and
to enhance the profession of cost estimating and analysis. SCEA's primary
goal is to foster the professional growth of its members in cost estimating,
cost analysis, and allied fields. No conflict of interest is created by
membership or participation in the Society by Government employees or those
of private industry. The Greater Alabama Chapter of SCEA provides a local forum for professionals in the various cost analysis and related fields to come together and promote the advancement of the cost estimating and analysis profession in the greater Alabama area. Our local chapter holds monthly luncheon meetings where you can network with other members, learn about advances in the cost analysis and estimating field, stay abreast of the latest changes in the industry and receive updates on current events. Over the years, the national SCEA organization has sought to broaden and deepen its relationship with sister organizations with overlapping missions. As a result, SCEA is nationally better connected and stronger than in prior years. The indirect benefit to us, as members, is larger awareness of available trends and tools, plus a larger network of contacts. |
